The Piers Christopher Street at the West Side Highway

We'll start at the West Side Highway.... The Village Idiot hasn't been to the piers in a while, and with the construction on West Side Highway, it's a little messy. However, it is quite a haven for the Christopher Street community during the summer. It's a nice place to hang out, socialize, and get a great view of the Hudson River.

Badlands Video Christopher Street and West Street

This used to be a bar by the same name. This store features adult videos and accessories.

The Dugout 185 Christopher Street

Sometimes labeled a sports bar, this Village Hangout was one of the first places the Village-Idiot patronized when he moved here in 1991. Weekend afternoons are quite big. Sunday $2 beer blast 12 noon to 9 p.m.
